Awards
Medals and ribbons earned by riding. Announced the moment you earn them, mid-ride, in your helmet.
Some apps give you badges for opening them five days in a row. WAIVR gives you awards for riding.
Medals and ribbons
Awards come in two kinds. Medals mark the firsts and the milestones. Ribbons count: the same achievement earned again and again, each one adding to the count on the ribbon.
They’re earned from what you actually do on the bike: distance, rides, seasons, nights, the long hauls. No daily-streak psychology, no log-in rewards.
Earned live, not at the finish
The moment a ride crosses a threshold, the award lands: announced during the ride, spoken in your helmet, there in your collection when you stop. Not a summary screen surprise three hours later.
Forged, not flat
Every award is a physical object in the app: struck like a real medal, hung from its decoration, with your username engraved on the reverse. Spin it. It took us embarrassingly long to get the light right, and it was worth it.
