Radar & road alerts
Speed cameras, average-speed sections, speed bumps and more. Warned in your helmet, even with zero signal.
A radar warning that needs an internet connection is a warning that fails on the roads where you ride. WAIVR’s alert database is installed on your phone with your country bundle, so the warning fires whether you have five bars or none.
What it warns you about
- Fixed speed cameras, with the direction they watch.
- Average-speed sections: warned at the entry, tracked across the whole section, released at the exit.
- Traffic calming: speed bumps and raised crossings, grouped so a village doesn’t turn into a notification storm.
- Red-light and section controls where they exist in the data.
Each warning type is configurable on its own: banner only, spoken voice, chime, or quiet. Your ride, your noise level.
Built for riding, not driving
Warnings respect the ride. They come early enough to matter at rider speeds, they speak through the same voice that guides you, and they duck your music instead of fighting it.
The legal part, honestly
Camera warnings are regulated differently across Europe. WAIVR respects local law: features adapt per country, and it’s always your responsibility to ride legally where you are. The app helps you ride aware, not outrun consequences.
